Because God sometimes looks away
If your feet take you astray,
And sometimes, He does not notice
If you live as you promised.

Because God sometimes says nothing
when you don't know what to think.
And He is sometimes like a stone
If you fear and cry alone.

Because God's light begins to dim
If you see yourself in him,
You don't even can comprehend
Basically He is your friend.

Because God always lets you fall
If you try to break the wall.
But sometimes, He gives what you need
Even if you don't believe.

If you're deep down, feeling blue.
And you are embraced tight by Him
Even if you live in sin.

Because God gives you, when you ask,
After all it is his task.
He lifts you up in to the light
That you will be pure and bright.

Because God will surely remain
If your dreams are all in vain.

He leads the way, taking your hand
If your goal's lost in the end.

Because God always lets you trust
That you're more than simply dust.
But then He forgets you one day,

Mert Isten mindig sírni hagy,

Ha hajszolsz édes álmokat,

De néha féltve átölel,

Még akkor is, ha nem hiszel.

És féltve, óvón átölel,

Még akkor is, ha vétkezel.

Mert Isten mindig ad, ha kérsz,

Ha hozzá néhanap betérsz.

És föl, magához, úgy emel,

Hogy könnyű, tiszta fény leszel.

Mert Isten biztos pont marad,

Ha összetörték álmodat,

S az úton kézen fog, vezet,

Ha célod végleg elveszett.

Mert Isten mindig bízni hagy,

Hogy nem leszel sosem magad,

De végül mégis elfelejt,

Csak összegyűr, s a porba ejt.
