Door to the sea

The sea murmurs softly, beyond the door,
babbling kid waves talk back to the shore.
Their foamy white laces rhyme on the clouds,
pinned to the sky high above the grounds.
The sunshine flies with the wings of a dove,
mountains float in the arms of the cove.
The door is open, the blue world flows in,
I feel the salt breeze kissing my skin.
I long for the sky, the sea and the shore,
but I can not step through that blue door.

Ajtó a tengerre

Mormol a tenger az ajtó mögött,

partig szalad a sok hullámkölyök.

Hófehér fodruk rímel az égre

gyöngéden tűzött csipkeszegélyre.

Kék hegyek ringnak az öböl vizén,

feloldja őket a hajnali fény.

Nyitva az ajtó, vár rám a világ,

a küszöböt mégsem léphetem át.
